Zeeuw wins Legion Post 69 Oratorical AVON PARK -- American Legion Post 69 held its Oratorical contest Jan. 11 in the Avon Park High School auditorium. There were four contestants: Rachel Gaidos, Jirah Ligon, Angelina Ligon and Marlene Zeeuw. All of the contestants were outstanding in their presentations. Marlene Zeeuw was the winner. Legion members thank the judges and workers during the program: Paula House, Bruce Borkosky, Jean Lund, Terry McCormick, Bob Olson, Pat Bird, Jennifer Langston, Sharon Hershberger, James Galloway and Chief Green and also the student escorts Kathy Norman, Erik Parker, Brett Bennet and Dominque Bryant.
