AVON PARK - After working with thousands of business owners each year, the University of South Florida Small Business Development Center has put together six courses that make up the critical business foundation all entrepreneurs need to know before starting a business.
The series will take one through determining feasibility and legal structures; developing financial projections; obtaining a loan; accounting and bookkeeping processes; and attracting customers.

This course covers taxes, licenses and entity selection for forming partnerships, LLCs and corporations.
The second class this week is Marketing Your Business from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 10. "Build it and they will come" is not a marketing strategy.
