Mae Lois McGowan, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 21, 2013. Upon her passing she was home, surrounded by family. She was in born in 1942 in Lyons, Ga., where she was also raised. She lived in Sebring more than 40 years, where she was married to the late Willie McGowan.
She leaves two sisters, one sister-in-law, two children and a host of grandchildren and great-grands, nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
Her funeral service will be Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Bountiful Blessings Church on Martin Luther King Boulevard. Services will be conducted under Swann Mortuary in Sebring.

Our Families, Moms, Dads, Sisters, Brothers, Children & Grand’s have shared a Lifelong friendship since the beginning of time. By the way, December 28th was never a Birthday unless a call was received from you; they will be missed.
