STANLEY JONES

STANLEY JONES

Stanley Tyler Jones, loving son, youngest brother and friend, a lifelong resident of Sebring, Fla., is now in the big Baja race in the sky. He passed away at his home on Nov. 4, 2012, at age 46. Stan lived most of his life on a fast track. He was happiest when he was racing, and was fearless in any type of vehicle. On land or water, he wasn't one to be on the sidelines. He had the need for speed; the faster the better. Stan always dreamed of four-wheeling in the desert dunes of Southern California, and in January with his best friend, Robert Catarelli, he was able to realize that dream. He was dubbed the "Flying Squirrel". His buddies - Robert, Ray and Brent - probably understood him better than most. Stan had a very close relationship with his mom, his sister Joyce, niece Christy and nephew Mark Jr. He loved children and always had a way of making them laugh.

His father, Wayne Jones, preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Jones; his siblings, David Jones, Wayne (Colleen) Jones, Michael Jones, Howard (Debby) Jones, Mark (Beth) Jones, Sheila (Steve) Bearden, Joyce Norskov, and Mary (Jack) Hollandsworth; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations in lieu of flowers to the Children Advocacy Center of Sebring. Arrangements by Morris Funeral Chapel. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life is scheduled for noon, Nov. 24, 2012, at Istokpoga Park in Lorida.

Rest in Peace Stanley  (by: William Oliveri  -   11/9/2012)

I knew you least of all the brothers and sisters of your wonderful family due to our age differences but did get to talk to you more most recently. Growing up with nothing but fun, fond memories, and incredible experiences from your tireless, loving mom and stern dad. Riding in the jeep, going hunting, fishing, building forts, catching lightening bugs, having campfires, your mom taking us swimming down at redbeach, and anything else we could get into brought me a rich childhood I can never forget and you were right there in the thick of it. Thank you Jones family! Rest in peace Stanley Tyler Jones

Missing you brother. I hope you are flying with the wind, skimming the waves, tearing across the sand dunes of heaven.
