Another arrest in Doty case
SEBRING -- Another arrest has been made in the Aaron Doty murder case.
On Thursday, Highlands County Sheriff's Office detectives secured a warrant for the arrest of 20-year-old Giovanni Burgos. Burgos reportedly provided the house in Orlando where the two men charged with killing Doty in June hid out after the murder.
HCSO detectives, along with members of the Orlando Police Department, served that arrest warrant on Burgos at his home, 4712 Walden Circle #1716 in Orlando Thursday night.
Burgos was taken into custody and was booked into the Orange County jail. He was transported to the Highlands County Jail Friday. Burgos is charged with two counts of accessory after the fact to a first degree or life felony for knowingly providing concealment from law enforcement during an active investigation. Per the arrest warrant, bond is set at $30,000.
Doty, 20, was last seen at a party at 5504 Granada Blvd. in the Sun 'N Lakes subdivision in Sebring at approximately 4:30 a.m. Sunday, June 10. At approximately 1:30 p.m. on June 11, a burned body was found in the north end of the Sun 'N Lakes Sebring subdivision and was confirmed to be Doty.
Jonathan Ray Rodriguez, 22, and Kenneth Felipe, 19, both of 5504 Granada Blvd., are currently in custody and charged with first-degree murder.
Rodriguez and Felipe were arrested on June 13 by the U.S. Marshal's Service Task Force operating out of Orlando. In addition, Travis Makris, Adrianna Rodriguez and Nicole Hebert have been arrested and charged in connection with the case.
"This arrest comes from the ongoing investigative efforts of our detectives to hold all of those who contributed in the death of Aaron Doty responsible for their actions," Highlands County Sheriff Susan Benton said. "Detectives continue to evaluate evidence and conduct interviews and will do so until we have exhausted all leads in this case."

I am so very glad charges on the two main ones were upgraded to first degree murder. I have said all along it was. Keep digging HCSO you will find more. And yes "A grandmother", anyone there standing by and watching and not doing anything to alert authorities contributed in his death. Get them all!!!!!

CHARGED with everything!! (by: A grandmother! - 11/10/2012)
Everyone who attended that party needs to be charged. They witnessed the attack. They chose to sit and watch the brutal beating and did NOTHING to save Doty. ANYONE who did not assist him, killed him!
Cody Kennedy (by: Joshua Wright - 11/9/2012)
This arrest is great, but what about Cody Kennedy? He was in the truck when they went to buy gas to burn the poor kid.
Welp (by: Doty Friend - 11/9/2012)
To bad he's already out on bond! They all should have no bond until further investigation.
