HGMS parliamentary team advances to state

AVON PARK - On Thursday, Sebring Sr. FFA Chapter hosted the District XI Contest at South Florida State College. Megan Stein, district president, coordinated the event along with District Secretary Brandon McKee from the Okeechobee Brahman Chapter. There were chapters from Palm Beach, Okeechobee and Highlands County participating as a result of winning their respective sub-district contests in December 2012.

The results in the middle school and high school divisions are as follows with each first place contestant advancing to the state contest held in conjunction with the 85th annual Florida FFA Convention in Orlando from June 9-14.
