Robert Lee Durham (by: Ashley Edris Durham - 10/8/2013)
I dont know who anyone is on here but no disrespect...what cathy says is true u might want to check with ur witness one more time before u post something like that! I meet the witness she came to my fathers funneral. He was a great man and honestly I hope didnt have any pants on cause then it means he was as comfortable as he could be!!! ,fyi if anyone wants to know my dad never went naked. Loved and care for everyone unconditional
Whoever is really (by: CATHY KELLEY - 10/5/2013)
You are a slob! The sun just reported? Read the last paragraph slowly you imbecile! The EMS who are more trustworthy retracted the statement from the witness! If the sun doesn't want to get sued they had better write something apologizing to the family. And you mame or sir I hope nothing like this happens to your family! YOU are a PIG
Really? (by: Just the facts ma'am - 10/5/2013)
If you take the emotion out of it, the NewsSun wrote what a witness told them. Unless you know for a fact a witness did NOT tell them that, they did not print a lie or false information. What you allege is a lie or false information came from the witness, not the NewSun.
Bob (by: Linda Walker Beachler from Alabama - 10/4/2013)
It sickens me to read something so ridiculous about Bob. Anyone who knew him should know better. Did the coward that reported this not think that he had children and family? Of course they wanted to be anonymous! Your newspaper should not have even printed this. Was it not enough that his family had to deal with the tragedy of loosing their loved one? Shame on you!!!
People are Greedy (by: Stan A. from Nebraska, a friend of one of the children. - 10/4/2013)
I trust you regret publishing something like this from an Anonymous source,if they existed, who probably knew it wasn't true, when you had a reliable source with a credible and contrary report. It's another example of sensationalized journalism designed to unfairly discredit an inocent person, and their family, for the benefit of your career or your paper's advancement objectives. I hope you are ashamed. What I know of Bob is that he was a tremendously personalble person who was trying to do his best in this world.

How disgusting can you people get??? I hope the family sues the hell out of you for printing this!

My comment was based on the "original" report... the driver appeared to be much younger and totally unclothed. It was inappropriate then but I feel even worse now. I sincerely apologize to the Durham Family.
Mr. Durham (by: George T. & Tonya G. - 10/2/2013)
Bob was a good man, and a very good friend to myself and to all who knew him. He loved his family very much, and he loved his dogs. He will be missed by us greatly. God bless him and keep him.

Trying to find his dog.. (by: CC - 10/2/2013)
Robert was a wonderful person, he was frantically looking for his beloved dog who had gotten out of the house. Shame on everyone for saying anything rude. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend.
really? (by: G - 10/2/2013)
As a family member of Mr. Durham, I am disappointed your writer felt the need to publish an ANONYMOUS person saying the victim wasnt wearing pants and that EMS said he was. REALLY? Mr Durham leaves behind, children, grandchildren and beloved pets. Hopefully your obituary will be kinder.
An explanation (by: Blindman~ - 10/2/2013)
There could be only one reasonable explanation... he was being chased by a jealous husband.
