Rotarians looking for those who've 'Got Talent'

Special to the News-Sun

AVON PARK - Dennis Johns and David Flowers want to know if you have talent?

The Avon Park Breakfast Rotary Club will be hosting a "Highlands County's Got Talent Show" on April 6 at Grogan Hall, 595 E. Main St.

The Avon Park Rotary clubs held local talent shows more than 20 years ago. Many local residents probably remember some local talent that performed in the past.

The return of this show will be outstanding and may even lead to bigger and better opportunities for those participating. It has been rumored that talent scouts from across America will be looking for that "special act" or be surprised with taking home the "People's Choice Award" with a cash prize.

Auditions will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 16 and 23 at the Avon Park Rotary Building, 50 S. Verona Ave. Come on Highlands County, if you've got talent call and sign up with Donna Vinson at 452-7458 or email cpan1969@aol.com and register your act today.
