The News-Sun would like to remind the readers that the names listed below reflect those who have been charged with a crime, but they are all innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. If anyone listed here is acquitted or has charges dropped, they can bring in proof of such decision or mail a copy to the paper and the News-Sun will be happy to report that information. The following people were booked into the Highlands County Jail on Monday, Oct. 13:

l Patrick Duncan Gammage, 44, of Arcadia, awaiting trial, warrant for larceny, petit theft, first offense; and warrant for burglary with assault or battery.

l Nestor Javier Garcia, 27, of Sebring, awaiting trial for possession of narcotic equipment and/or use; and possession of drugs with intent to sell, etc. other, Schedule III or IV.

l Derek Davon Hinson, 35, of Avon Park, was charged with probation violation, felony, warrant for possession of methamphetamine.

l Ricki Lee Kinney, 46, of Sebring, awaiting trial, felony for amended affidavit of violation of pre-trial release for possession of drug paraphernalia; and amended affidavit of violation of pre-trial release for possession of cocaine with intent to sell.

l Edward Delbert Kirtman, 35, of Sebring, awaiting trial for domestic violence or battery, touch or strike.

l Danny Alfred Lamar, 31, of Sebring, was charged with probation violation, misdemeanor or community control, warrant for possession of cannabis; and warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.

l Johnny William Malone, 40, of Avon Park, awaiting trial, warrant for withholding support, non-support of children or spouse.

l Roman Moreno Melchor, 19, of Fort Pierce, awaiting trial for operating motor vehicle without valid license.

l Ashley Marie Rhodes, 22, of Avon Park, awaiting trial for possession of drugs with intent to sell, etc. other Schedule III or IV; and possession of narcotic equipment and/or use.

l Shannon Nicole Sanders, 20, of Avon Park, awaiting trial for possession of narcotic equipment and/or use; possession of new legend drug without prescription; and possession of drugs, with intent to sell, etc. other, Schedule III or IV.

l Janet Lavonne Smith, 37, of Sebring, awaiting trial, warrant, failure to appear, failing partial payment program for giving false name to law enforcement officer.

The following people were booked into the Highlands County Jail on Sunday, Oct. 12:

l Tiffany Eileen Bradley, 18, of Avon Park, was charged with probation violation, misdemeanor, warrant for petit theft.

l Stephen William Calderon, 28, of Sebring, was charged on a Hardee County warrant for driving while license suspended or revoked; and Hardee County warrant for possession of cannabis, under 20 grams.

l Travis Lenard Fogle, 21, of Avon Park, was charged with probation violation, felony, warrant for battery.

l Eric Tilghman Hersberger, 18, of Lake Placid, awaiting trial for possession of marijuana, not more than 20 grams.

l Guadalupe Medina, 18, of Sebring, awaiting trial for lewd, lascivious behavior, molesting victim less than 12 years of age, offender 18 years of age or older.

l Victor Manuel Morales-Rios, 31, of Lake Placid, Immigration Code Enforcement for municipal ordinance violation.

l Connie Sarver Pugh, 47, of Sebring, awaiting trial for resisting officer, obstruction without violence.

l Mark Andrew Stram, 41, of Sebring, awaiting trial for resisting officer, obstruction without violence.

The following people were booked into the Highlands County Jail on Saturday, Oct. 11:

l Maria Avalos, 52, of Sebring, awaiting trial for allowing minor alcohol or drugs at open house parties.

l Chad Ryan Barnes, 19, of Avon Park, awaiting trial for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense; and possession of liquor by person under 21 years of age, first offense.

l William Bernard Bleything, 31, of Avon Park, awaiting trial, warrant for larceny or petit theft, first offense.

l Cara Ashley Cooper, 23, of Lake Placid, awaiting trial for possession of narcotic equipment and/or use; and possession of marijuana, not more than 20 grams.

l Cassie Nicole Crockett, 22, of Sebring, awaiting trial for possession of marijuana, not more than 20 grams; and possession of narcotic equipment and/or use.

l Melissa Rae'Ann Crockett, 23, of Sebring, awaiting trial for possession of narcotic equipment and/or use; and possession of marijuana, not more than 20 grams.

l Angel Felix-Marin, 56, of Lake Placid, awaiting trial for domestic violence or battery, touch or strike.

l Michael Stanley Golightly, 25, of Lake Placid, awaiting trial for possession of marijuana, not more than 20 grams; and possession of narcotic equipment and/or use.

l Michael R. Hadley, 25, of Port Richey, awaiting trial for possession of narcotic equipment and/or use; and possession of marijuana, not more than 20 grams.

l Ariel Soto Martinez, 25, of Sebring, awaiting trial for operating motor vehicle without valid license; and warrant, failure to appear for no valid driver license.

l Sheryl Denise Moore, 44, of Sebring, awaiting trial, warrant for larceny or petit theft, first offense.

l Taquarrie Tawillie Patterson, 23, of Lake Placid, awaiting trial for larceny, petit, first offense.

l David Walter Rost, 38, of New Port Richey, awaiting trial for possession of marijuana, not more than 20 grams; and possession of narcotic equipment and/or use.

l Roger Eugene Tish, 42, of Sebring, awaiting trial for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second offense.

l Sherell Latasha Wisdom, 27, of Sebring, awaiting trial, warrant for larceny, petit theft, first offense.

The following people were booked into the Highlands County Jail on Friday, Oct. 10:

l Hernan Deigo Aguirre, 22, of Vero Beach, was charged with probation violation, felony, warrant for two counts of grand theft.

l Robert Clinton Bass, 34, of Lake Placid, awaiting trial warrant for withholding support, non-support of children or spouse.

l Curtiss Harold Burke, 57, of Lake Placid, was charged with probation violation, warrant for possession of cocaine.

l Alain Deschambault, 45, of Palm Beach Gardens, awaiting trial for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second offense.

l Winston Isidore Francois, 31, of Sebring, awaiting trial, warrant, failure to appear for failing partial payment program for using or possessing drug paraphernalia.

l Marc Edward Hudson, 24, of Avon Park, was recommitted for driving while license suspended, first offense.

l Donald Joseph Krass, 52, of Avon Park, awaiting trial for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, third violation.

l Michael Shane McConniel, 26, of Sebring, was charged with probation violation, misdemeanor, warrant for battery.

l Kerden Ulric Mills, 27, of Sebring, Immigration detainer for municipal ordinance violation.

l David Gerald Mullally, 43, of Frostproof, awaiting trial for contempt of court, child support.

l Anthony Raphael Ortiz, 19, of Lake Placid, awaiting trial for possession of marijuana, not more than 20 grams.

l Jason Alexander Pinion, 31, of Frostproof, awaiting trial for withholding support, non-support of children or spouse.

l Juan Antonio Recinos, 18, of Avon Park, awaiting trial for operating motor vehicle without valid license.

l Michael David Schaffer, 25, of Sebring, awaiting trial for smuggling contraband, introducing into detention facility; driving while license suspended, first offense; and hit and run, leaving scene of crash involving damage to property.

l Robert Dale Shanks, 48, of Lorida, was registered as a convicted felon for child abuse.

l Delmer Taylor, 44, of Arcadia, awaiting trial, warrant, failure to appear, failing pre-payment plan for no motor vehicle registration.

l Eddie Lee Williams, 61, of Avon Park, was registered as a convicted felon for murder.
