SEBRING -- Folks with the Heartland Idol want lovers to know Thursday's show will be romantic and special, right down to special sweets available at the Idol Cafe.

Starting at 4:30 p.m. the group Scarlet Fade will open with a pre-show. Diana Walker, Heartland Idol founder, said they will perform their own music and some cover tunes.

Inspirational Country Vocalist of the Year Tommy Brandt and Dustin Woods, formally with the Christian rock band "Love Like Gravity," will be among the judges, as will Christopher Lightfoot, champion of Heartland Idol in 2007.

"For a $5 donation, they (Scarlet Fade) will sing, read a poem, or dedicate a sentiment to your significant other throughout the night," Walker said.
