Betty (Tina) P. Odham, 85, of Sebring, Fla. died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013. She was born in Johnston, S.C., daughter of the late Philemon Berry Waters VIII and Edith Wright Waters. She was a graduate of Johsnton High School and Winthrop College, Rock Hill, SC, class of 1948. She taught high school at Green Cove Springs, Fla. and physical education at Woodlawn Elementary School from 1969-1989. She was a member of Sebring Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; grandson Dale Odham; sister, Marina Kirkland; and a brother, Philemon B. (BoBo) Waters VIIII. She is survived by sons, Marshall (Judy) Odham of Gainesville, Fla., Russell (Nancy) Odham of Avon Park, Fla., Hugh "Bubba" (Nancy) Odham of Titusville, Fla. and Brailey (Kathy) Odham of Tallahassee, Fla.; daughter, Bettina (Terry) Galas of Sebring, Fla.; brother-in-law, Roy Kirkland of Johnston, S.C.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at Bible Fellowship with family receiving friends one hour prior. Memorials are requested to Scholarship Fund in care of Sebring High School or Safe House, 1000 S. Highlands Ave, Sebring, FL 33870.
