Raymond Alan Hall, 69, of Avon Park, Fla., passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013. He was born on Nov. 24, 1943 in Sebring, Fla. to Elma Lee (Goolsby) and Virgil Lee Hall Sr. He was a graduate of Avon Park High School, Class of 1961; a graduate of the University of Florida, School of Pharmacy, Class of 1967; worked as a pharmacist for Touchton Drugs; owned and operated Park Pharmacy; and retired from Eckerd Drugs in 2001. Mr. Hall was an active member of Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church, was a Deacon, participated in church visitation every Tuesday, delivered meals for Meals-On-Wheels and has been a lifelong resident of Avon Park, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Carol J. Hall of Avon Park, Fla.; daughters, Vesta Hall Clary (Chip) of Thailand, and Heather Lynn Hall Kay (Rich) of Tampa, Fla.; son, George A. Hall (Kelly) of Avon Park, Fla.; brother, Robert N. Hall (Judy) of Marietta, Ga.; five grandchildren, James Clary, Hannah Clary, Lindsey Hall, Brennen Kay, and Michael Kay.
A funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Bougainvillea Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. at Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church.
