E. ROSALIE WENGERD
E. Rosalie Wengerd, 86, of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away June 29, 2012 at Community Hospice North East Florida Hadlow Center, Jacksonville, Fla.
E. Rosalie was born July 2, 1925 in Logan, Ohio to Baker and Maud Rheinscheld. She was a South Bloomingville and Ohio University graduate; then taught school at Laurelville, Circleville, and Teays Valley school districts; and retired from Logan-Elm School District as a special education elementary teacher for 27 years. She was a life member of Ohio Retired Teachers Association and belonged to Fort Caroline United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her brother, Floyd (Naomi) Rheinscheld of Mt. Sterling, Ohio; sisters, Mavis (Darrell) Cronin of Jacksonville, Fla., Juanita (Paul) Ringhiser of Logan, Ohio, Dana Hartshorn of Logan, Ohio, and Mary Ebbrecht of Circleville, Ohio; sister-in-law, Grace Rheinscheld; step-children, Rev. Michael (Pam) Wengerd of Middleburg Heights and Carol Ann Wengerd of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Wilford "Bill" Jackson, who passed away on May 5, 1991; second husband, Eli Wengerd, who passed away on Aug. 19, 2008; brothers, George Baker, Harold, Arthur, Joe and Howard; brothers-in-law, Chester Hartshorn and Joseph Ebbrecht; and step-daughter, Linda Bowers.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday July 5, 2012 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Michael Wengerd officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed Thursday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
