Benita Valdez of Wauchula announces the birth of a son, Jerome Isace, at 3:06 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2012 at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Sebring.

Jerome weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 20 inches in length.

Maternal grandparents are Lucy Valdez and Santos Valdez.
