James Robert (Bob) Sands, 72, of Sebring died Oct. 28, 2009. Born in Huntington, Ind., retiring in 1996 from Ford Motor Company, in Batavia, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1963.<p>
He is survived by wife, Jessie; son, Charles; and two granddaughters.  <p>
Bob's request was to be placed next to his late-wife Jackie at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Memorials are suggested to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
