AVON PARK - The Hearland Symphony Orchestra is in rehearsal for the upcoming first concert and extends invitations to musicians of brass, strings and percussion to attend Tuesday night's rehearsals at the Grogan Center at Our Lady of Grace Church on East Main Street from 5-7 p.m. Bring your instrument and music stand.
Bryan Johnson of Warner University is the director of the orchestra and can be contacted there at (863) 638-7231 for full information. Four numbers from Handel's Messiah will be played plus a number of current/modern compositions.
