CARL HANCOCK
Carl S. Hancock, 77, of Sebring, Fla. died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice. Carl was born in Camden, N.J., son of the late Samuel and Regina (Dever) Hancock. He was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School and was CEO of Cassidy Exterminating and Water Proofing Co. of Collingswood, N.J. Carl retired in 1988, moving to Sebring, Fla. and worked for the State of Florida Department of Agriculture, Canker Division. He was an avid tennis player, loved NASCAR and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Avon Park, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sister Regina Marie, and is survived by his loving wife, Vera; aunt, Nellie Lopez; cousins, Bill Hancock, Bill and Peggy Lopez, Joseph and Loretta Lopez, and Barbara Lopez; brother-in-law and his wife, Michael and Karen Lopez; nephews, Michael (Nori) Lopez and Gregory Lopez; niece, Tara (Curt) Fisher; and special friends, Terry and Adam Baals, Emily Perkins, Barbara and Louis King and Tom Williams.
A mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Avon Park. Memorials are requested to Good Shepherd Hospice. Morris Funeral Chapel, www.morrisfuneralchapel.com.
