AVON PARK - South Florida State College's Museum of Florida Art and Culture (SFSC MOFAC) will hold an Intro to Watercolor Portrait Painting workshop with artist Owen Jolly from 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 in Building A, Room 16.
The workshop is open to beginner-, intermediate-, and advanced-level artists who want to improve their technique. Participants should bring their own portrait to the workshop. The cost is $20.
Jolly is an award-winning contemporary painter with a strong foundation in classical art. A former high school and college level art teacher, Jolly also has a background in the field of graphic art and worked as an illustrator in New York City. His artwork can be found on the walls of corporate and private collectors in Jamaica, Canada, England, and the United States and will be featured in the upcoming Journey Stories exhibition at SFSC MOFAC in December.
