SEBRING - Sounds of the Season, a Christmas celebration, is returning to Highlands County. This holiday musical revue hosted by Unity in the Community has been a favorite in years past and is sure to put even the "Grinch" in the holiday spirit!
Show producer Andrew Conyer said, "There has never been a year where people did not contact us to see if the show was returning. After much introspection, we have finally decided to bring back the holiday musical revue in a streamline form." This year's show will feature NLight, the popular musical group who just returned this spring with an all new show. The group has been in rehearsal since August of this year creating an outstanding holiday review. Traditional Christmas both secular and sacred will be presented.
Nlight members are Beverly Kautz, Nelly Guzman-Ford, Tracy Pollard-Schucknecht, Sharon Cornine, David Flowers, Carl Gillilan and Andrew Conyer. The group has performed together for more than 15 years after Kautz decided to bring together some of the best voices in our area to perform uplifting positive music with outstanding harmony and energy. Since the beginning, NLight has wowed local audiences and left them standing on their feet.
Sounds of the Season will be presented at Unity Life Enrichment Centre, 10417 S. Orange Blossom Blvd., at 2:30 and again at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. The venue has very limited seating for both shows.
