Julius Bell<p>
Julius Bell, 70, a lifetime resident of Avon Park died Nov. 14, 2009. Born in Adel, Ga., he moved to this area as a young man. He retired from The School Board of Highlands County after working as a custodian for more than 30 years at Avon Park High School. He was a member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church.<p>
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Viola; a son, Benjamin Wright; and daughters, Della Packer and Judy Bell.<p>
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church and the Homecoming Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at the same location with the Rev. C.L. Carter officiating. Entombment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Marion's Community Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.<p>
