SEBRING -- Members of the Citizens for Government Accountability will meet this Thursday evening at the Sebring Beef O'Brady's restaurant in the Sebring Plaza shopping center. They are calling on all citizens who have no party affiliation to attend the session.

"We want to ask those who are NPA, or have switched to NPA to let us know what they thought about the past election and what they would like to see next on the local, state or federal level," said CGA spokesman Bill Youngman.

Additionally, there will be updates on Highlands County's Tourist Development Commission and the Economic Development Commission.

Also planned are discussions on the recent event surrounding the proposed animal control ordinance.

"We also want to hear concerns from the citizens who show up," Youngman said.

The gathering will get started with a social time at 6 p.m. with the meeting to commence at 7 p.m. It will be held in the Beef O'Brady's meeting room on the east end of the restaurant.
