Ruth and David Sostre of Avon Park announce the birth of a daughter, Ruth Selene, at 6:55 a.m. on Oct. 26, 2012 at Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center, Sebring.
Ruth weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 21 inches in length.
Maternal grandparents are Angel Morales and Ana Ortiz of Avon Park.
Paternal grandfather is Tony Sostre of Miami.
