MARION ACKERSON<p>
Marion Ackerson, 89, of Avon Park, Fla. died Dec. 4, 2012 at The Oaks of Avon. She was born in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Henry and Arel Metzdorf. She was a nurse's aide and had worked in retail sales and was a waitress. She moved to Avon Park in 1987 from Minneapolis, Minn.  <p>
She is survived by her daughters, Toni Kopp of Avon Park and MariAnn Hiltz; sons, Stoney Nelson and Michael Malecha; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Lyndsey, Alexandra, Danielle, Ethan, Shane and Jennifer. <p>
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. with a service at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 at Morris Funeral Chapel.<p>
