DENNIS HESTON
Dennis C. Heston, 52 of Sebring, Fla. passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice, Sebring. Dennis was born in Lakeland on Nov. 14, 1960 to Norman "Jug" Heston and Elizabeth Arehart Heston of Sebring.
In the summer of 1981 Dennis enlisted as an electronic tehcnician in the United States Navy. During his naval career he received the Navy Achievement Medal for his work in the "Anti Submarine Warfare" electronics field and was honorably discharged at the end of his second enlistment.
In 1999 he founded Your Data Inc., a computer networking and repair company along with his wife Brenda. He was an active member of Crossroads Community Church, Avon Park, where he enjoyed serving as head sound technician. The family has been involved with Youth for Christ and the Chad Varga event.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Collier Heston; sons, Zachary Heston and Daniel Heston; daughter, Alaina Heston; sisters, Becky Leaphart, Cathy Terrell, Jacque Maxcy; brothers, James, Bill, Joe, Mike, Gregg and David Heston; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Allen and Carolyn Collier; and was preceded in death by his parents.
A service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Bible Fellowship, Hammock Road. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, they would love memorial donations made in the memory of Dennis with the Champion for Children Foundation of Highlands County, P.O. Box 77125, Sebring, FL 33872-0103.
