Rosie Louise Struemph Shaffer, 72, of Avon Park, Fla., died Monday Dec. 10, 2012, in the Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Mo. Rosie was born on March 2, 1940 in Osage County, Mo. She iss the daughter of Rose Conner Struemph and the late Charles Struemph. Rosie was married to Franklin A Shaffer.
Surviving Rosie is her mother, Rose Struemph of Belle, Mo.; daughter, Bonnie Patricia Olsen (Tom) of Fort Myers, Fla.; granddaughters, Laura and Katherine; and great-granddaughter, Nyla; daughter, Delorse Reinsch (Michael) of Gladstone, Mo.; grandchildren, Justin, Billy and Christopher; and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jake; son, Franklin Schaffer of Avon Park, Fla.; daughter, Wanda Sue Brockwell of Berryville, Alaska; granddaughters, Danielle and Cindy (Havey) Horton; and great-grandchldren, Emberly, Joslynn, Samatha and Tessa Jean; son, Mark Wayne Shaffer (Veronica) of Belle, Mo. Also surviving Rosie is her son Luke's family, grandchildren Josh, Zachary and Tommy; great-grandchildren Danielle and Christian; and daughter Gale's family of four grandchildren. She is survived by four brothers, Clarence Struemph of Desoto, Mo., Jack Struemph of St. Clair, Mo.,and Larry and Henry Struemph, both of Belle, Mo.; and a sister, Anne Marie Dingley of Belle Mo.
Rosie is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin; a son, Bill Luke Shaffer; and daughter, Gale VandeBrake.
