Sons of AmVets plan benefit ride

Editor:

The Sons of AmVets Post 21 in Sebring are planning a ride benefit to support the Landstuhl Hospital Care Project in Germany. Active duty veterans that are sick, injured or wounded at war in Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan (any veteran in war time) are cared for at Landstuhl Hospital in Germany, before returning to battle or sent home. Our efforts are to support this project with supplies (toiletries, clothing, etc.) that are badly needed.

All proceeds from this benefit go directly to Landstuhl Hospital Care Project. The event will be held on Saturday, March 23 at the AmVets Post in Sebring. You do not need a motorcycle to enter this ride benefit; any motor vehicle can join this event.

Registration is $10 per person to include a continental breakfast. Lunch provided at all three American Legion Posts and dinner when the Riders return to the AmVets Post. We will be offering a 42-inch TV to raffle, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Tax deductible donations can be made by check payable directly to Landstuhl Hospital Care Project (L.H.C.P.) and mailed to the AmVets Post 21 at 623 U.S. 27 South, Sebring, FL 33870. Please mark attention: Sons of AmVets.

We would like to thank everyone in advance who participates in this event and this very worthwhile cause.
