Response to Blindman (online comments). Maybe Blindman needs glasses to why the fundraiser golf tournament was canceled. We had been in touch with the golf course as far as three weeks prior to Saturday's game. This to the fact that I was told that they would contact other golf courses about free games. That was not done. That they were going to fax a flyer to the other golf courses. That was not done. That I tried three weeks to talk to the golf pro at different times and even went out there to see how things were going. I even met with the restaurant manager and agreed on prices for the lunch and what was to be serverd at lunch time. I and the golf pro even came up with a price for the golf game and golf cart charge for the tournament.
I was told what it would cost me to have signs made up by them. However, I had a local business make up the signs and save the center monies. I had even put the golf tournament in the local newspapers as to the time, location, and the cost. I went around and talked to different local businesses and recevied funding for ads. I even showed those businesses a flyer that was made up by the golf course of the time, date and cost. I even contacted the local radio station and they were going to announce it on the radio station.

This was not going to cost me anything in return for a foursome ticket. I had different golfers that I knew that was going to be there for the tournament.
I have times, dates and names of different people that I talked to, or left messages for the golf pro to contact me. I even told the golf club that I never put on a golf tournament and that any advice that they could give me would help. They said they would. That was about six months before the date was set.
I had a person that was going to play and that person was told that there was no tournament for Wrede's. Now you tell me why the tournament was canceled and why I was not told prior to the Friday before since I do have times, dates and notes what was going to be done by the golf course.
