Editor:
Recently I saw on TV where (a retail chain) is having problems with its employees in relation to hours, wages, and benefits. Nothing new. What I am writing about is the problems I have with their employees.
I have been doing my grocery shopping at the local store on U.S. 27 for a number of years. That may be about to change.
In the last couple of months, they have been out of a number of items I, and I am sure others, buy on a weekly basis. Not only that, but their employees block the aisles and act like it is an imposition for them to have to move so that a customer can get through to purchase goods. These same employees seem to be poorly trained or informed about where products in their store are. I even encountered two employees today that were arguing loudly with each other in the middle of the aisle.
After checking out, with only about half of the items I came in to get, I asked to talk to a store manager. The reason for this Letter to the Editor is that I was told that there was not even a store manager in the store.
