Making wise decisions often requires high levels of skill or competency combined with adequately understanding all the factors causing the present problem or problems. Making wise decisions is sometimes impossible because some of the facts are not as they appear or those facts are combined with missing, incorrect, or unknown information.
Our first views of life are through the eyes of a child, often combined with perspectives of people in our environment. As we get older and our knowledge of life increases, we are constantly forced to modify previous perspectives, making them more accurate to life as we now understand it.
When I was young I had some older friends who were always willing to patiently listen to me when I experienced various stages of difficult or complex situations in life. These friends, who were usually business associates, helped by giving me different perspectives to consider. In addition to my personal life, these business associates also helped me in my business life where I usually functioned as a trouble shooting technician on complex transport refrigeration equipment. I am now 72 years old and can no longer communicate with these older friends because they died many years ago.
But since we all are only temporary inhabitants of this small planet, I know that our creator who gave us life once is capable and will somehow grant us life again in the hereafter so we can be united with friends and love ones who have pass on before us. I am in good health, enjoy living on this small planet, and consider each day to be a precious gift. But I look forward in the hereafter to being united with friends and love ones and discussing life with them.
