Dec. 18 and 19 were Angel Days at Sun 'N Lake Elementary, when parents arrived at school to receive Christmas presents for their children. I wish that each of you who assisted us with our Christmas Angels could have heard the heartfelt thanks and feel the hugs as we loaded Christmas gifts on their children. We can only imagine the joyful faces Christmas morning, but today the heartfelt appreciation of parents and grandparents warmed all of our hearts.
A special thank you to the Florida Nursery Growers and Landscape Association (Ag-Angels) for their generous support and Panera Bread's staff and patrons for their wonderful response. We wanted to let all of our supporters know that their efforts, the generosity of many of our staff and parents, Laye's Tire Service, Avon Park Jaycees, Shear Bliss hair salon have made this a very special Christmas for our students.
