Letters policy
Make sure to sign your letter and include your address and phone number.
Anonymous letters will be automatically rejected. Keep your letters to a
maximum of 400 words. Letters of local concern take priority. Letters are
limited to two per month. Opinions expressed in letters or columns, as well
as any other opinion piece are solely the opinion of that author and not
necessarily the opinion of the staff or editors of the News-Sun. All items
will run on a first-come basis as space permits. Letters will be edited for
good taste, grammar, length and libel, although we try to retain the overall
flavor of the writer’s style. We believe your viewpoints are just as
important as any community leader or government official, so consider this a
personal invitation to get your two cents in.
