J. Ned and Tammy Hancock of Sebring are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Marti Susanne, to Ross Michael Simon. Ross is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Michael (Anita) Simon of Winter Haven.

Marti is a 2005 graduate of Sebring High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Florida, where she and Ross met. She continued her education at the University of Florida by graduating with her Masters of Science in Finance in 2010 and is currently employed with J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Tampa.

Ross is a 2005 graduate of All Saints Academy in Winter Haven, a 2009 graduate of the University of Florida and has a Masters of Science in Genetics from Tulane University. He is currently in his third year of medical school at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

The couple will be married on June 8, 2013, at Bayshore Baptist Church in Tampa.
