Much to be understood in the words
Editor:
You were missed Sunday in Lake Placid by the Church of Christ if you did not attend any church assembly Sunday. Not only do you know your reason for not attending, but more important, God knows and He cares. A seat is always saved for you in Lake Placid Church of Christ, even if the building is for sale.
Come fellowship and worship with us. We learn every time we gather that way we also grow. Come grow with us, won't you please?
Creston Frezzell teaches Sunday for the adults at 9 a.m. Bring your Bible and follow along. Your Bible is the only book you will be studying. This is the only map for us to follow, for us to walk so that we are pleasing to our Father.
If you have not been studying, this is the time and place to start.
At 11 a.m. Creston again opens the Bible for us to learn. Did you know that 'and' was a very important word used in the Bible. John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 3:36 "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

You can see that what is after the word 'and' is just as important as what is before.
Sunday at 6 p.m. we sing and watch "So the Word Might Know". What a good learning experience this is.
Wednesday at 7 p.m. Frank Parker opens the Bible and also your eyes with that he points out in the word. He taught us a little about our heart. Jeremiah 29:13 "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." Psalms 119:2 "Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart!"
We must be careful with conscience, look at one example given us, Acts 23:1 "And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day."
Ask Frank about his friend's quote about "Pure Butter Fat". Hope to see you with open the Bible where the Church of Christ meets in Lake Placid on route 27.
