Prayers appreciated by warrior, family

Editor:

Our son, Joshua McKee, who is serving in Afghanistan, was shot during a firefight last month.

As a U.S. Marine rifleman and squad leader with two combat deployments, he has had many close calls. Such as the time he stepped on an I.E.D.

Although his wound is quite serious, Joshua will be returning to us. We believe all those who have prayed for him have made it so and God has answered our prayers.

We ask for everyone to continue praying for those still fighting, those with serious injuries and the fallen.

All our thanks to the community for your support and prayers.
