Avon Park Middle School students Lorenzo Williams, Elizabeth Varis, Quincy Claitt, Byron Wilder, Estella Islas, and Lacey Coleman display the new Science DVD Collection that was donated through DonorsChoose. The DVDs cover a variety of science topics from earthquakes and volcanoes to amazing buildings and wildlife.

AVON PARK -- A local science teacher has picked up a new way to help gather materials for his classes at Avon Park Middle School, using the Internet and a unique Web site that caters to donations.
