YMCA annual Christian Concert tonight

SEBRING - The Highlands County YMCA is ready to showcase its annual event that benefits children throughout Highlands County.
The concert features music from local artists who perform contemporary Christian music. This year's lineup includes one big name group in the community as well as several popular local artists. The Wacaster Family will head the concert with other performances by Andrea Mathis Band, BFC Family Band, Justus Martin, Nala Price and By the Sword.
Last year's concert filled the auditorium at South Florida State College bringing in just more than 400 attendees. The Christian Concert this year will be held at Sebring Middle School in the Commons. The facility can hold up to 600 guests. The concert will kick-off at 7 p.m. today.
YMCA Program Director Dave Scheck is thrilled about this year's events and has hopes of packing out the venue this year.
Tickets are $10 per person and includes three free visits to the Highlands County YMCA. All the proceeds will benefit go directly to the YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign. For more information call 382-9622.
