Maurine Richie dies

SEBRING – Maureen Richie, the wife of current County Commission Board Chairman Jack Richie, reportedly succumbed to cancer last night.
Commissioner Richie was forced to leave the county meeting June 12 early to attend her in the hospital.
The Richies celebrated their 50-year anniversary in 2008.
Visitation will be at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 25 Lakeview St. in Lake Placid from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday.
The Service of Life and Ministry will start at 3 p.m. with Rev. Richard A. Norris officiating.
