HCSO looks for shooting suspect

AVON PARK -- Highlands County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred at Sierra's Bar, 2951U.S. 27 North, Avon Park at approximately 2:20 a.m. Thursday morning.

The incident occurred in the parking lot as a result of an altercation. An employee of the bar was shot during the disturbance and was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. At this time, detectives are looking for one black male suspect, however no further description is available.
