ROTC cadets treated to special Thanksgiving lunch

SEBRING - The smell of perfectly spiced turkey flowed through the air as the Air Force Junior ROTC cadets filed in at Sebring High School to celebrate Thanksgiving, with their annual Turkey Day Dinner last week.
All the cadets filed into the Smith Center during lunch to share a delicious meal and what they are thankful for this season.
Cadet Veronica Gallardo said, "I think that it was fantastic, a great improvement from school lunch, and very tasty at that!"
The cadets enjoy this event every year. While spending time with friends, they love getting their fill of Thanksgiving dinner at the same time. None of them were bashful as some proceeded to get seconds and maybe even thirds.
With the food being of a high likability, it is served by SHS's very own culinary art students of Pat Hollenberg, a program sponsored by the school. This event is said by many to be a great way of achieving corps and cadet bonding.
